Agreement was reached between Daimler AG and AzeDer

AzeDer representatives met with Oscar Heer, Director of the Human Resources Department of Daimler AG in Stuttgart, Germany. Mr. Heer toured the Daimler plant with the representatives of AzeDer and noted that they will create conditions for Azerbaijani students to internship here in the future.

One of the most advanced companies in the automotive sector in the world – Daimler Automotive divisions consist of Mercedes-Benz Cars, Daimler Trucks and Bus production.

It should be noted that in the near future, a competition will be announced among AzeDer members to conduct an internship program at Daimler AG.

Aysel Kazimova, who has been selected for the internship program announced by AzeDer, has already started her internship at UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization). We wish her success in this responsible activity!

It should be noted that the duration of the internship is three months, and young people who are admitted to the internship during this period are provided with accommodation and other living expenses in Vienna, Austria.

AzeDer General Coordinator Elchin Aliyev, Students Coordinator Ali Mammadov and Public Relations Coordinator Büke Asfuroğlu have met with Erbay Şirin, Director of the International Student Office of Bahçeşehir University.

Noting that they will be able to provide academic support along with the use of conference and exhibition halls within the framework of the cooperation of Bahçeşehir University and AzeDer, Erboy Şirin added that they will be pleased to support Azerbaijani students by talking about the university’s scholarship opportunities.

Mr. Shirin, after having lunch with AzeDer representatives, by touring in the university gave information about the opportunities created for foreign students here.  

Last week AzeDer delegation visited the Turkish cities – Bursa, Çanakkale, Balıkesir, Manisa and Izmir. The purpose of the visit was to meet our compatriots studying in those cities.

AzeDer General Coordinator Elchin Aliyev, Istanbul Students Coordinator Ali Mammadov and Regional Students Coordinator Togrul Mahiyev participated in the meetings held with the Education Advisor of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Turkey Najiba Nasibova.

During the meetings, the students were informed about the activities of AzeDer and opportunities created for the students, and stressed that AzeDer will always support the students.

The meetings also discussed the problems faced by students during their education in Turkey – accommodation, scholarship, tuition fee, dormitory and internship opportunities. AzeDer representatives informed our students about the work done in this direction and promised to notify them about it when the results were achieved.

In turn, the students expressed their gratitude to AzeDer staff for the visit, for the opportunities created for them and wished them success in future activities.
