The Forum “Towards becoming an exemplary doctor” organized in Ankara with the support of AzeDer is on Milliyet!

We Congratulate All Our Compatriots On The 22nd Anniversary Of The Restoration Of Azerbaijan’s State Independence!

On October 12-13, the 3rd Turkish Forum “Towards becoming an exemplary doctor” of the Azerbaijani young doctors and students studying in the field of medicine was held in Ankara, Turkey. The event was held in the Morphology building of Ankara University Medical Faculty within 2 days. Before the event, our young doctors operating and studying in Azerbaijan and Turkey visited the park named after the national leader Heydar Aliyev in Ankara and laid a wreath in front of the statue. Interest in the forum, which started its activity, was quite large. Together with doctors and students from many cities of Germany, Russia, Azerbaijan and Turkey, the teaching staff of Ankara and Hacettepe universities also took part in the event.

Chairman of the Organizing Committee Farid Gasimzadeh starting the forum with an opening speech, greeted the guests. Then, AzeDer Secretary General Atesh Nabiyev made a speech at the event and greeted the doctors and students on behalf of the Chairman Rashad Abdullayev and expressed hope that this forum will bring excellent results for them. Noting that AzeDer’s goal is to contribute to the career development of our youth studying in Turkey and all countries of the world, Nabiyev said that the forum was one more example of this.

Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elsever Aghayev, Deputy of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (GNAT) Professor Necdet Ünüvar, Educational Advisor of Azerbaijan in Turkey Najiba Nasibova, Rector of Hacettepe University, Professor Murat Tuncer and Dean of the Ankara University Medical Faculty, Professor Şehsuvar Erturk made a speech at the opening ceremony and delivered their words.

In the first panel of the forum moderated by Professor Semih Baska, Elsever Agayev, Necdet Ünüvar and Şehsuvar Ertürk gave information about the health system, legislation of Azerbaijan and Turkey. The panel participants also answered questions about Azerbaijan and Turkey. At the end of the panel, with the proposal of Deputy Necdet Ünüvar, it was decided to create a consultative group of Azerbaijani doctors and medical students studying in Turkey and prepare a report on all the listed problems and proposals. The deputy said that if this report is sent to him after it fully prepared, he will try to take concrete steps for consideration in the parliament. At the end of the first day of the forum, which continued with panels during the day, gala dinner was organized. Appreciation certifiates were presented to the organizers of the forum, and then guests had fun under the songs of singer Javid Tabrizli.
