The Istanbul Center for International Students (ICIST), one of the institutions with which AzeDer cooperates, organized a workshop on “Becoming an international student in Istanbul”. The workshop was attended by international students from different countries, studying in Istanbul, where they created a colorful and warm atmosphere.

On behalf of AzeDer, Toğrul Mahiyev, the students’ coordinator, and the AzeDer representative from Istanbul Technical University, Peri Sharifli participated in the workshop as negotiators. In the workshop, the general problems of international students and the solutions of these problems were reported by the students themselves. All of the conversations were reported by the session moderators and submitted to the ICIST management.

The IBB Foreign Relations Director Selamettin Ermiş and ICIST Project Coordinator Mustafa Ermiş, who attended the meeting and made speech, reported that the results will be evaluated and will be delivered by ICIST to the relevant authorities in Ankara.
