March and photo exhibition on the 25th anniversary of Khojaly genocide was held in Uşak city with the support of the Azerbaijan Human Capital Development Center on February 26.

A photo-exhibition organized in the open air, in which Azerbaijani and Turkish flags were hoisted, was distributed to residents of the town square with information about the genocide. Mahammad Badalov, a member of the INDEX and the students studying in Uşak informed the residents and guests about the Khojaly genocide and acquainted them with the purpose and essence of the March.

Then they came to the monument erected in memory of the victims of the Khojaly genocide in Uşak city. Participants of the march along the way chanted slogans “The world should recognize the Khojaly genocide!” Justice for Khojaly, freedom for Karabakh!”.After the national anthems were played, the march was over.

A photo exhibition on the 25th anniversary of Khojaly genocide was opened in Kahramanmarash city with the support of Azerbaijan Human Capital Development Center.

The photo-exhibition opened on February 26, 2017 will be open to visitors at every faculty of Kahramanmaraş Sütçü Imam University until March 6.

Our students studying in Kahramanmaras distributed leaflets, brochures and other information about the Khojaly genocide to visitors.

On March 3, 2017, a conference on the 25th anniversary of Khojaly genocide was held in Balikesir with the joint Organization of the Turkish-Azerbaijani fraternity of Balikesir University and Balikesir University Students Union.

Representatives of Balikesir municipality, teaching-professor staff of the university, local people also participated in the conference.

First of all, the memory of our martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence; national anthems of Azerbaijan and Turkey were played. 

INDEX Balikesir representative Ismayil Salmanov and Head of the Council of Balikesir University Mirze Menekshe called Khojaly genocide a crime against humanity and informed about the atrocities committed by Armenians against our people from time to time. After the speeches, the participants were shown a short film about the Khojaly genocide, poems were told.

Then Associate Professor of the University, Prof Dr. Sebahattin ŞIMŞIR gave detailed information about the events in Karabakh and Khojaly. Sebahattin Şimşir, who gave detailed information about the Khojaly genocide, once again wished mercy to our martyrs and concluded the event.
